Commedian of the year 2011 - a master of improvisation

Al Pitcher was elected Comedian of the Year in 2011. The motivation was: "He came, he saw, he conquered. With a world class an audience report he has conquered Sweden in no time".

Al Pitcher is an internationally well known and celebrated standup comedian who has performed all over the world. He is originally from New Zealand but lives in Sweden nowadays. Al is a master of improvisation and he skilfully incorporates the audience in his shows.

He has designed a concept that he calls "Pitcher Show" where he tailor makes the show for a specific company. He does this by photographing a number of humorous pictures from the company’s office and he improvises over them on stage.

What differentiates Al Pitcher from other entertainers is his brilliant interaction with the audience and his unique ability to improvise fantastic humour, making the audience howl with laughter. Truly a comedian that should be experienced alive and his reviews in newspapers from all over Sweden have been fantastic.
